Harvest Time BBBQ & Pool Party!

Our first (hopefully) annual BBQ & Pool Party was a huge success. We had 9 total people (including Ron & Dave) and had more food than we knew what to do with. Everybody was stuffed and people were still taking things home. Sounds like a raging success to us!

As a reminder, everybody had to bring something they either made from scratch (e.g., home grown tomatoes, hunted meat), or something they traded for without fiat currency.

Below is a list of what everybody brought, how it qualified, and then photos (if available).

Dave H Marinated Skirt Steak, Homemade Tortillas, Home Pickled Jalapenos The Skirt Steak was purchased with Monero from XMRBazaar.com Agreed1987. Super high quality grass fed beef, shipped extremely quickly. This was a huge hit. Go buy from him! Masa and Jalapenos were purchased from the store but made into tortillas and home-pickled respectively. I am normally not a big fan of pickled jalapenos but these were phenomenal!
Ron M & Gina Pico de gallo, homemade whiskey cocktail in a watermelon The pico was bartered for (don't ask what for!) and the cocktail was completely homemade.
Travis M & Ambra Lions Mane Mushroom Steaks Travis was having trouble finding a way to purchase this without fiat currency, so we came up with an idea. Dave bought them with fiat, and then Travis bought them from Dave for 33 rounds of .556 ammo. Agorism is all about being adaptable!
Adam H & Jen Homemade Apricot Jam with Fresh Baked Bread The apricots even came from their own tree and the jam made from them was delicious. The bread was super soft and fluffy and felt like it just came out of the oven.
Steve X Prickly Pear Jam Steve was able to buy this jam with LTC-MWEB. It was also delightful. Unfortunately we did not get a photo of it!
Mike W Assorted Mushrooms Mike was a guest on our show talking about mushrooms, and appropriately he brought some amazing mushrooms grown by Desert Moon Farms right here in Las Vegas. He was able to score them with ETH. They didn't even need salt to taste amazing!

For those that missed out and want to try for next year, it will be the first Saturday after the Harvest Moon (September 5, 2025).
